Total Tractor Sales in Pakistan 2020 – Sales Volume and Market Share

Total tractor sales in Pakistan for year 2020 remained 39,272 units (domestic + export). Pakistan’s top tractor manufacturer, Millat Tractor Limited sold 27,007 tractors. After Millat it comes Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited which sold only 12,147 units till Nov-2020. Tractor industry is in decline at -5% vs same period last year (2019).

Tractor Market Share FY2020

Millat is securing the 1st place since more than 10 years with Market share of 68.7% and Al-Ghazi is at 2nd number with 30.9% share. Bull power / Orient Tractor has only 0.3% share. Tractor brands other than these including imported tractors have less than 2% MS.

Above data is of only local tractor manufacturing companies. Some tractor brands are imported and sold in Pakistan have also minor contribution in sales. Belarus and YTO tractors have also their small share in total nationwide sales beside Euro Ford tractors.

Millat & AL-Ghazi Tractors are manufacturing Massey Ferguson and New Holland tractors brands respectively. Tractor sales in Pakistan has prominently dropped since last 2 years due to multiple factors. Government of Pakistan has also announced sales tax subsidy scheme in November 2020 but it did not benefit the sales volume and customer as well.
